Portland

The thing about the Northwest is the weather. Yes, the nature here far suprasses Michigan, but what about the weather? This Northwest is about 75% of the time you don’t want to go outside. Slight rain and grey days. Seriously. Yes, the landscape here is general outside the cities is absolutely amazing, but what difference does that make, when 75% of the time the weather is so slowly depressing that - in reality - you don’t want to go outside. See, myself growing up for over 20 years on the east side of Michigan, just below the “thumb” for those who know what that means, the weather was always awesome. Summer meant summer. Summer here in Portland is short with its’ extremely slow beginning and ending transitions. Yes, the winter sucked in Michigan, but I would give anything to see the sunlight in Portland, like what I am used to from Michigan. Portland, or hell, this entire this entire region absolutely sucks solely on its lack of pure sunlight during the day.

When I mean sunlight. I mean sunlight. I don’t mean, its absolutely black here in Portland during the day, but hell, it’s so fucking pucky-grey, I’d rather have it black.

Fuck Portland, brighten up!
